Studio 27 owner Cheryl Harris is a multi-talented performer and gifted teacher who instructs children and adults in singing, acting, performance, creative movement and improvisation. Working with agents, producers and choreographers across the country and internationally, Cheryl has helped develop, manage, cast and place talent in the entertainment industry. Cheryl is also an international vocal coach whose talent spans the globe. Her unique approach to vocal development includes proper breathing techniques, understanding and controlling airflow, and muscle techniques that enhance sound and expand vocal range. Camila Miller is a working actor and performance coach whose career spans film, television, theatre and arts education. Known for her thoughtful storytelling and collaborative approach, she brings a well-rounded perspective to both the classroom and the creative process. Camila earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance from Georgia State University, where she received extensive training in acting, playwriting, directing, choreography and vocal performance. During her time there, she developed and directed original productions while expanding her experience both onstage and behind the scenes. Her original production Artscape was later broadcast by PBS Atlanta, highlighting her passion for creating meaningful, story-driven work. As a performer, Camila continues to pursue opportunities across film, television and theatre while remaining dedicated to ongoing professional training. Her experience onstage, backstage, in front of and behind the camera gives her a unique understanding of character, storytelling and performance from multiple creative perspectives. In addition to her work as an artist, Camila is a passionate acting and vocal coach who enjoys helping performers build confidence, strengthen their technique and discover truthful, compelling performances. She works with students of all ages, emphasizing strong acting fundamentals, script analysis, audition preparation and authentic emotional connection. Whether directing a production, coaching a private lesson or preparing actors for auditions, Camila is committed to creating an encouraging environment where artists feel challenged, supported and inspired to grow. Her goal is not only to develop skilled performers, but confident storytellers with a lifelong appreciation for the craft.

Josie Juliette Wert is a professional actress, dancer and trained vocalist based in Atlanta, Georgia. Josie has been involved in the performing arts since age six and has trained from coast to coast with organizations including Broadway Artists Alliance in New York City, The Actors Lab and The Cullen Douglas Class in Los Angeles, and studios throughout Atlanta. After briefly studying acting and directing at Baldwin Wallace University, Josie took academic leave following a series-regular booking on No Rest for the Wicked, distributed on Amazon Prime. Since then, she has accumulated credits including a leading role in Graceball on PBS, a leading role in My Sister’s Secrets on Lifetime, and the lead role of Sugarcane in a SAG-AFTRA production. Other notable credits include If Only, selected for the Cannes International Film Festival, and Happy People on Amazon Prime. She also won an Audience Choice Award for her performance as Annie in the short film Host from Postmortem Films. Josie is experienced in commercial work and has more than five years of professional acting-coaching experience. Her multifaceted skills and training, combined with her perspective as a current working actor, bring a unique dimension to her classes. She values the craft and strives to empower students to use their individuality as an art form.

Amaya Alexander is an actress, dancer, visual artist and photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. Her career began at age eleven, when she felt a profound spiritual calling to pursue acting. Driven by a deep love for acting and a relentless commitment to her craft, Amaya earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performance from Spelman College. During her studies, she trained at the Stella Adler Conservatory through Spelman’s cross-registration program with New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she further developed her classical acting foundation. While in college, Amaya interned at the Alliance Theatre as a teaching assistant, working with K–12 students in playwriting and acting. This experience ignited her passion for mentorship and inspiring children to pursue their dreams. She went on to teach acting at the Boys & Girls Club and mentor young girls throughout some of Atlanta’s most vulnerable communities, encouraging them to discover their voices through the arts. Since graduating, Amaya has continued to expand her craft through extensive training in film, television, improvisation, audition technique and on-set experience. Her screen credits include the BET+ television series Ruthless, the BET+ feature film Incision and an upcoming Lifetime original film. She has also appeared in numerous commercial and theatrical productions across the Southeast. With more than a decade of acting training and professional experience, Amaya is passionate about helping actors build a strong foundation rooted in technique, truthful storytelling and individual artistic expression. She believes great acting begins with personal growth and lives by Stella Adler’s words: “Growth as an actor and as a human being are synonymous.”

Jordan Myers is an Atlanta-based actor, filmmaker and vocal coach who is passionate about helping others find their authentic voice—both on screen and in performance. Her first on-screen credit came as an infant, and she has been working as an actor ever since. Jordan began performing in theatre at age ten and started working professionally in film during college, ultimately deciding to dedicate her career to the acting industry. Jordan starred in the Amazon Prime horror feature Dead Teenagers and appeared in a supporting role in the award-winning short The Ice Cream Man, which was shortlisted for an Oscar nomination and included in Variety’s top-ten list for the Oscars’ live-action short category. She has appeared on screen alongside acclaimed actors including Noah Emmerich and Bella Thorne in The Ice Cream Man and the thriller Saint Clare. Her genuineness and authenticity bring depth and honesty to every role. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, with studies in film and musical theatre, from Miami University of Ohio. There, she was praised for her original writing and directing and created multiple short films. She also performed lead and supporting roles in several stage productions. Jordan played a major role in the Alliance Theatre’s staged reading I LOVE STRANGERS and continues to refine her craft and emotional depth through intensive acting programs. Jordan has also booked SAG projects in voiceover and commercials and performed in multiple short films across Atlanta. When she is not on set or in class, she teaches singing and piano, models professionally and helps students strengthen their artistic confidence and emotional connection. She looks forward to supporting each student’s growth as an artist.

Spencer Griffin Jordan is an actor, screenwriter and filmmaker based in Atlanta, Georgia. Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, he grew up as a dedicated athlete while developing a deep passion for storytelling, film and performance. His journey into acting began in high school, where he quickly discovered a love for the craft. During this formative period, Spencer experienced the loss of his father in a biking accident. Through that difficult time, acting became an important creative outlet—providing a space to process emotions, connect with others and find purpose through storytelling. Spencer earned a degree in Film and Theatre Performance from East Carolina University, where he received comprehensive training in acting, screenwriting, film theory and analysis, improvisation and filmmaking. He also developed skills in stage combat and movement, gaining experience in safe and effective performance techniques. Throughout his studies, Spencer found success both in front of and behind the camera. During his sophomore year, a short film he created was selected for the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival, a milestone that further solidified his commitment to a career in entertainment. In addition to his formal education, Spencer has pursued extensive improvisation training, developing strong skills in listening, collaboration, spontaneity, character work and ensemble-based performance. His background in screenwriting and film analysis gives him a deeper understanding of story structure, character development and the creative process from multiple perspectives. Following graduation, Spencer relocated to Atlanta to pursue acting professionally. Since then, he has remained deeply engaged in the craft, continuing to study, audition, write and perform while gaining firsthand experience in the discipline, resilience and collaboration required to succeed in the industry. Spencer believes in preparation, hard work, professionalism and treating people with respect. He also brings enthusiasm, approachability and a genuine love for the creative process. He strives to create a positive, supportive environment where artists feel encouraged to take creative risks, build confidence and grow as performers and storytellers. Sydney Elise Johnson is a classically trained and dynamic actress whose work spans film, television and theatre. Known for her emotional range, grounded realism and commanding stage presence, Sydney brings authenticity and depth to every role she inhabits. A graduate of Emerson College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, Sydney also trained at the renowned National Theater Institute, where she performed in numerous stage productions including Much Ado About Nothing, Endgame and Hamlet. Her early theatre work reflects a strong foundation in classical text, character study and ensemble collaboration. Following her studies, Sydney further honed her craft at The Globe Theatre in London, training intensively in Shakespearean performance before relocating to New York City to pursue her professional career. In New York, Sydney continued developing her skills through leading studios and on-camera intensives while quickly establishing herself as a working actor in television and film. Her television credits include The Equalizer on CBS, Law & Order: SVU on NBC, Run the World on STARZ and Running Out of Time on BET. Her work also includes a recurring role on The Equalizer and a lead performance in the EFM/MPX feature film Things Like This. Beyond her on-screen accomplishments, Sydney has expanded her artistry behind the scenes. She has directed and produced for the Eugene O’Neill Theater and the Cambridge Camping Association, projects that reflect her commitment to inclusive and socially impactful storytelling. Jacob Kaufman is quickly making his mark as the charismatic, all-American teen next door. She is best known for her standout recurring roles in Prime Video’s breakout hit The Summer I Turned Pretty and all three seasons of Netflix’s fan-favorite young-adult romantic comedy XO, Kitty. On the big screen, she appeared alongside Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore in the Oscar-nominated drama May December. Her additional credits span scripted and true-crime genres, including American Soul on BET, Your Worst Nightmare and SCAD’s original sitcom Lodged. Jocelyn earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she also minored in Business Management and Entrepreneurship—giving her a creative edge with a strategic mindset. Complementing her formal education, Jocelyn’s training extends beyond the classroom through hands-on experience at several of Atlanta’s independent studios and performance roots that began as a teenager at Studio 27 Talent. A natural comedic talent, Jocelyn trained extensively in improvisation and performed in weekly shows with SCAD’s acclaimed improv troupe. In addition to her on-camera career, Jocelyn has worked behind the scenes on major productions including The Resident, Dynasty and Signing Day. She has also stepped into the director’s chair, earning accolades for her award-winning short film Family Therapy. With years of experience both in front of and behind the camera, Jocelyn brings a rare combination of artistic instinct, technical skill and business savvy to every project—and she is just getting started. North Jackson is a professional actress and educator dedicated to empathy-driven storytelling and authentic connection. She is passionate about helping artists develop both their craft and confidence while honoring the individuality each performer brings to the work. North spent five years building her career in Los Angeles, gaining hands-on experience within the Hollywood entertainment industry before relocating to Atlanta. She brings a well-rounded, industry-informed perspective to her teaching, supporting students as they navigate an ever-evolving landscape in film, television and theatre. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting for Stage and Screen from the nationally ranked program at Azusa Pacific University. Her training emphasized live performance and on-camera technique, with a strong focus on the technical, emotional and stylistic demands of each medium. Her stage credits include Andromache in Trojan Women, Gabrielle in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and Henrietta Leavitt in Silent Sky. Her on-camera work includes the role of Crystal in the original series First Things Last, along with commercial work for Kia and BJ’s Brewhouse. With extensive improvisation training, North has performed as a strolling character at Universal Studios Hollywood and with one of the country’s top-rated immersive escape-room experiences. She has also worked in production with companies including Netflix, Brand Apart, Retro8Films and Wolfdog Creative, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the industry from performance and production perspectives. As an educator, North emphasizes strong foundational technique, text analysis, improvisation and full physical and vocal expression. She also guides students in understanding the professional realities of the acting industry, empowering them to approach their careers with intention, resilience and strategy. North creates a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe to explore, take creative risks and share stories from their unique points of view.

Jason has worked steadily in film and television for more than a decade. He is best known for roles in Hulu’s Golden Globe-nominated miniseries Dopesick; the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series Atlanta; NBC’s Ordinary Joe; AMC’s The Walking Dead; and FOX’s The Resident, among others. Jason’s feature-film career began with a lead role in the surprise hit October Baby, honored as one of Entertainment Weekly’s “15 Most Impressive Box Office Performances of 2012.” This led to roles in the People’s Choice-nominated I Can Only Imagine, Disney’s Lady and the Tramp, and The Art of Self-Defense opposite Jesse Eisenberg. His additional film work includes a supporting role alongside Zach Galifianakis in Apple TV+’s The Beanie Bubble and Searchlight’s Suncoast with Woody Harrelson and Laura Linney.
