A conservatory-style introduction to practical on-camera technique. Young performers build imagination, focus and confidence while learning to deliver natural, expressive performances and feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Live Vocal Performance Series · Ages 5 through adult

Want to sing on a live stage?

Aspiring singers and actors combine dynamic vocal coaching, light choreography and exciting opportunities to perform for live audiences. Performers collaborate, explore their individual style and build toward community performances that showcase their growth.

This audition-based series is group training for singers preparing for live performances. It is separate from private, one-on-one vocal coaching.

Kids & teens · Ages 5–17

Vocal Performance Series

Young performers train as a dynamic group for local and public performances. Vocal coaching, light choreography and stage work help students develop confidence, creativity and the skills to truly own the stage.

  • Fridays · 5:00–7:00 PM
  • $165 per month · One-time $50 studio fee per student
  • Audition required; space is limited
  • Fall and winter/spring semesters

Adults · Ages 18+

Adult Live Vocal Performance

Singers explore multiple genres while developing vocal technique, movement, acting, character and stage presence. New and experienced performers can grow as individual artists or as part of a group in an energetic, supportive setting.

  • Fridays · 6:00–8:00 PM
  • $165 per month · One-time $50 studio fee per student

  • Multiple live performances throughout the year

Group and solo live-performance rehearsals. Performers confirmed for solos must also schedule private vocal and blocking sessions.

First semester

Friends & Family holiday performance and celebration:

The semester may continue through the final live holiday performance.

Second semester

January 15–May 14, 2027

Year-End Live Performance Revue for friends and family:

Additional public performance dates will be announced when confirmed.

Auditions & participation

Second-semester audition:
December 9 · 6:00–7:00 PM

Email the studio to reserve an audition time.

Once accepted, all scheduled classes are mandatory. Additional costume fees may apply when needed.

Audition requirements

Prepare 60 seconds of a song.

Have a second song ready as a backup. Sing a cappella or with music, then learn and perform a short choreographed piece in comfortable clothing.

One-on-one coaching built around you.

Choose private vocal or acting instruction for personalized, goal-oriented training in a supportive environment. These individual sessions are separate from our group Vocal Performance Series.

Take your voice and performance to the next level.

Work one-on-one with our professional vocal coach using years of industry experience and knowledge. Sessions develop both vocal technique and stage performance, with guidance tailored to the individual artist.

Private Acting Coaching

Prepare with current industry-standard techniques.

Whether you are preparing for an audition or need more individual attention, our experienced acting coaches help you build practical skills. Our coaches are represented by agents and active on television and film sets.

Session options: 30 minute or 1 hour sessions. Please contact the studio for current rates, as they vary by coach.

Cancellation Policy for Private Lessons: Singing and Acting: Student agrees that all privates must be paid for in advance. Private sessions are to be paid in advance monthly for recurring weekly sessions. Student agrees to provide a minimum 24-hour cancellation notice by telephone or email before the day of the booked private acting and singing to allow for rescheduling within the same month based on availability. Student agrees that in the event they fail to provide the minimum 24-hour notice they forfeit a reschedule of that session and the credit card on file will be charged for the missed session at the standard rate. Student understands that there are no make-up classes for missed sessions. If you have a private session on Monday then your notice needs to be given by the previous Thursday due to studio hours. Any individual private sessions will be paid for at the time of scheduling to reserve your spot.

Our in-house showcase gives all current Studio 27 performers the opportunity to present prepared material for invited Atlanta-area agents and casting directors.

Annual Spring Agent/Casting Director Showcase

All of our current acting students get the opportunity to show their acting skills in front of local talent agents and casting directors. All students must be in attendance in regular, weekly classes for a minimum of six months to prepare for this VIP event. Students must have a completed résumé and current headshots. Details will be given to all students so they are completely prepared for this showcase.

Our prestigious New York Agent Showcase gives invited performers the opportunity to present for top television, film, commercial and Broadway agents in New York.

Winter 2027

Your path to ConnectNYC.

ConnectNYC is by invitation only and requires an audition for acceptance. The opportunity is open to actors, singers and dancers. Studio 27 intensively trains performers, helps parents and adults understand the acting business, and supports each participant throughout the process.

How to prepare

Arrive ready to show us your work.

  • Everyone: Bring a current photo or headshot to leave with us.
  • Actors: Prepare a 45-second monologue, or use a cold-read script supplied by Studio 27.
  • Singers: Prepare 30 seconds of a song to sing a cappella.
  • Dancers: Prepare a 30–45 second dance and bring your own music.
