Calling all actors who need to learn an accent!!! Join us on Thursday, April 2nd at 4pm online for SPEECH FOR ACTORS with Coach Ashli. This class will touch on accents, dialects, accent reduction, and annunciation. If you have an interest in, or think you would be considered to play a person with a specific accent then this class is for you. In this class we will use IPA (international phonetic alphabet) in order to dissect the English language and from there we will dive into the expansive world of accents and dialects. Each actor will learn the difference between simply imitating an accent versus  actually understanding the sound structure of different accents and how to approach and achieve them authentically. Each student will leave the class feeling comfortable with at least one accent that fits their “type”.
