Ages: 12 and up (unless approved by Studio 27)

In today’s market, actors frequently have to turn in auditions after having had very little time with the material. In this workshop, actors will learn how to create compelling character behavior in a finite amount of time. Using Laban’s Eight Efforts and Ann Bogart’s Vocal Viewpoints (among other approaches), actors will walk away with easily applicable methods of making audition material stand out from the rest. 

Please prepare a memorized 20-30 second contemporary monologue. Dress to move. Sneakers or bare feet. Please no skinny jeans, skirts, or dangling jewelry/watches. 

Cost: $75 per student

Date: Saturday, March 2nd from 2-4pm.

(This 4hr workshop is appropriate for actors ages 12 and up. Possible exceptions can be made with Studio 27’s permission).
